About JPQ Quartet

USA & UK , London , US

A funky-jazz outfit with diverse and spontaneous ideas. Each member of the band has their history which can clearly be heard in the musical compositions that they put together. Although the instrumental side of the band likes to remain anonymous the vocalist have no option but to take the stage. This band is something else, and nothing but, they can only be described as the 70's, everything and more. At the same time experimenting with today's technology makes them unique because they carry that original sound with them. It is not like they would have difficulty in trying to make that authentic sound but instead its the total opposite. They have no alternative but to bring it with them. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls...The JPQ Quartet Band.

On the keyboard section we have a Jay Keys, a phenomenal jazz pianist who has been in the groove since the tender age of four. Coupled with the other musicians Jason brings out this wild versatile flavour of funk fusion that can hardly be described as single Jazz music. Having guest appeared on many other artists tracks Jason has proved to be one of the most versatile musicians found at the FJ camp. His style can only be described as a combination of Bob James meets Ray Charles with a pinch of Joe Sample. Never the less when you hear those keys they are compelling and contain so much motion that one has no alternative but to move to the groove of this keyboard player. A phenomenal keyboardist with an ear for a wide range of styles who not only complements but enhances the sound of any song he plays or musician he collaborates with.
